    Creation of a National Knowledge/Resource Centre

    OTTAWA, CANADA March 20, 2013The creation of a national knowledge/resource centre on male sexual trauma and recovery from child abuse was announced today by The Men’s Project (TMP), an Ottawa-based treatment centre for men and their families since 1997.The centre will be known as 1in6 Canada. The name was chosen because research has shown that one in six males will be sexually victimized by the age of 18 or just about 17 per cent of the male population.

      Men of Courage Conference – Ottawa

      The_Mens_Project1in6    Men of Hope is please to provide a link to the registration information for the FIRST MEN of COURAGE –  Men of Courage Community Conference being held –  March 23-24, 2013 in Ottawa, ON.   It promises  to be a weekend of education, insight and wellbeing for male survivors.   Men of Hope’s founder, Lee Ferrill, will be part of the Advocacy & Activism for Male Survivors Panel.
